Thursday August 1, 2013  update #530
Bella is recuperating well.   Thank you to everyone for all the good wishes.   Bella had the vet come to the house to de-worm the cast, total cost $10.
I tried to get a photographer friend to join me on a photo excursion today but he had plans and doesn’t like cloudy days, he needs blue skies to take good photographs.   So I stayed home to work on a few more Pase Del Nino photos instead.
We finally got a reply from Network Solutions saying :
Dear Al,   I apologize for the issue you are having.  I can confirm that the WebForwarding service is working correctly and the issue you are having is not related to our service.  The only time your site does not load, consistently, is if you turn Masking on, to hide the URL you are being forwarded to, so this can mean that your host has their servers configured to not allow URLs on their servers to be masked. This is a common issue, as a lot of major websites such as YouTube, LinkedIn, MySpace and Facebook all block this feature.  This can also sometimes be related to only certain browsers and even certain versions of browsers, which appears to be the issue with your site, as I am able to load the site without any problems, using Internet Explorer, but not Firefox.
Firstly, we can’t get our sites to show up on any browser, including IE, so I fired them off another email.  Then I noted it said not to reply to the email, so I called.  The young lady repeated that the problem is with the “masking” and then indicated that she could fix the issue…….. DUH….   What is the matter with young people today anyway???  Have they not been taught to think past one problem at a time???   UGH!!!  Two and a half weeks of lost business because they aren’t bright enough to apply their simple solution to the obvious problem…  They have now promised that the sites will be working within 24 hours.   If not, I am going to rip somebody a new asshole tomorrow for sure.
The sun is trying to make a very late appearance today but without much success.

That was the day's excitement,   Cheers, Al   Please see all new photos at http://souvenircuenca.blogspot.com/
