I was up early to finish off the photos for Joe’s and to get
out my Blogs. Joseph had said he could
not access the Dropbox we were using because he had a new computer so I decided
to copy all the Dropbox contents onto a memory stick. However, first I had to download it all into
my download folder because it did not let me have any other options. I have
no idea why it took over 3 hours for that process when it took only about 6
minutes to then transfer it all to the stick…..
So I hopped on the #16 and headed west, like a young man,
lol, and popped in at Joe’s first. Now
Joseph tells me his problem with Dropbox is only that he forgot the password… Jeepers, I could have saved 4 hours work! I know the password…..
Joseph now wants me to also put their logo on all the photos
and he will show me how to do it. I am
not sure I want even more work on my shoulders in this regard.
Then I made an unannounced stop to visit my friends Bettye
and Chris whom I hadn’t seen in a couple of months. They both look very good but both are coming
off infections that have kept them indoors a lot. Anyway
it was good to renew acquaintances with them.
Then, since the gals were off playing Bridge, I stopped in
to help Mark with some unpacking. It
will be interesting to see how everything gets placed in this unusual apartment
with all its round walls and many nooks and crannies.
We stopped for supper at the Pollo Asadoro(?) next to the
bridge at Las Americas and we were very pleased with the suppers. For $5 I had the sea bass supper, with two monstrous
fillets, and I couldn’t eat it all. It
was late and we tired of waiting for a bus to come along so we cabbed home for
$3.
Sorry, I was busy all day and the camera never left my bag
so no photos today.
That was the day's
excitement, Cheers, Al
