I did chores, then grocery shopping, so Bella could sit home and recuperate. She is doing very well in her recovery so we don't want to jeopardize all the recent gains.
I don't know what is wrong with my keyboard, but if I don't hammer the "a" it doesn't always print out, so I have to double-check every line. It is getting annoying already, so if you see a word missing a letter, you will know why.
The afternoon and evening were completely tied up with a meeting of Hearts Of Gold and the subsequent avalanche of paperwork to email. I was asked to play Secretary (no short skirts) and take the minutes of the meeting. One of the discussions was about our ideas for this year's Christmas Gala which has clearly outgrown the space at Joe's Secret Garden. So far, everyone at the meeting approved of our proposals and now we need ratification from the founders, the Verkleys to book the new venue. We have another meeting scheduled for next week to really flesh out some ideas for this year's Gala that we want to be remembered as the Event Of The Year. If we can get it advertised before anyone else, hopefully other organizations won't compete with us on that night.
That was the day's excitement, Cheers, Al
