Wednesday-Thursday February 22-23, 2012

Wednesday Feb 22/12 update
http://www.zazzle.com/souvenirphotostudio
Here is a link to my new Zazzle site which will take a while to build up.  From this site a person can order about 350 different variations of artworks derived from my photographs including mugs, aprons, posters, prints, clothing, etc.  If you see anything you like, but not in the product you want, just contact me and I will get the proper item uploaded for you.   If you have a favorite photograph from any of the other sites that isn’t uploaded yet, and know what product you would like it on, let me know.
Sorry the embedded code did not function to give you the cute Flash player to scroll my work.

We went to the airport to change our tickets to Quito again to the end of March as there still is no Censo paper here so there is no point making the trip until that is resolved.  Then we made a quick stop in Kywi to check out shelving possibilities for the dining room.
Then we went to Banco Pichincha to get a Cashier’s cheque for the balance of the house payment as apparently Jorge has the title split now.  Michael is to call him in the morning and get the papers over to the lawyers for notarization and finalization.  This is just formalities and paying the final bills before we get the house, taxes and utilities all in our names.  Some of those items could take a while yet.  Of course, it started raining while we were at Pichincha, like usual.
Michael called again to say Jorge had an emergency so nothing will happen until tomorrow.  Also Etapa is to come and try to fix our Internet problem in the morning.

Thursday Feb 23/12 update
Bella is off to her book exchange and then weaving this morning to get a latex backing on the rugs she has woven for the living room.  I was sitting around home waiting for Etapa to call, crazily expecting them to show up first thing at 8am.  I am such a sucker for punishment.  I have been on the internet most of the morning and have lost the signal 4 times in 4 hours.
Michael called to say Etapa won’t show up until after 2pm.  He also said Jorge has dropped off the property subdivision papers to Nelson & Grace, our lawyers.  He said Nelson has looked over the papers and they are in order but he won’t have time to do anything with them until at least Monday.
Even though it is another blustery day the boys are enjoying the view and the warmth of the terrace so I took a couple of shots.
Etapa never did show up, again.   I am so fed up with their service I am ready to tell them to take a hike.
That was today’s excitement.     Enjoy the pics.   Hugs to all.
